This opportunity is open to EmpowerHer MembersOnly.
Registration Fee: $90 (no additional member discount)
Number of Participating Vendors : ~18
Table & Chairs: (1) 6ft table, (2) chairs, and (1) black tablecloth will be provided for you
Vending Space Size: 6ft x 6ft
Space can accommodate (1) 6ft folding table and small rack or sign.
Cannot accommodate L-Shape set-up.
Raffle: We will be hosting a raffle and ask each participating vendor to contribute one item of their choice.
Shoppers will receive (1) ticket for each purchase they make with a vendor.
We recommend contributing an item value of no more than $25; No large gift baskets please!
The Location
The Market will be located inside the Connector at The Winthrop Center. This is a beautiful ground-level atrium area that is home to food and communal gathering.
The Market will be promoted as a Holiday social hour for the bustling building and neighborhood with Holiday-themed activations, food and live music.
The location is accessible and flat, making it easy for carts and dollies.
Food & Drinks: There will be a few food and beverage vendors open during the event. TBD on which ones.
AV & Electricity: Limited electricity is available and not guaranteed. Please bring your own extension cord for use.
WIFI: Yes, open guest network
Bathrooms: Indoor
Parking: Vendors are responsible for paying their own parking. There are several garages in the area:
30 Hawley Street Parking Garage (30 Hawley St, Boston): ~$43 all day
Post Office Square Garage (112 Congress St, Boston): ~$42 all day
Spothero has discounted rates in various garages in the neighborhood you can reserve
Our Application Process:
If your application is accepted: You will received registration information to secure your spot for each unique vending opportunity you apply for by the notification date specified.
If your application is waitlisted: You will be notified in the order in which your application was received if a spot becomes available.
How To Add Yourself To The Waitlist: We encourage you to still submit an application even if the Due date has passed! If you have applied after the Application Due Date, you will automatically be added to our waitlist and we you reach out if a vendor spot becomes available due to cancellations.
How We Use Your Vendor Fee:
At BWM, we want to be open and honest about how we use your vendor fee. We always aim to put your fee to good use and ensure that our events are a success for your small business!

Print Marketing and Promotional and Directional Signage
Pre-event planning and management
Labor costs for BWM Staff
Event Decor and supplies

Our Cancellation Policy:
We understand life events occur and plans change! Please review our cancellation policy thoroughly before applying to ensure this is the right opportunity for you.
To cancel, you must notify BWM via e-mail at hello@Bostonwomensmarket.com by the following dates:
100% refund: If notified at least 12 days before the date of the event.
50% refund: If notified at least 11 days before the date of the event.
No refund: If notified 10 days or less before the date of the event.
Registrations are non-transferrable to other Market dates or activations.
Bad Weather Event Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Before The Event Date: If the Boston Women’s Market team cancels an event due to inclement weather (wind, rain, storms, heatwave, snow storms, etc.) before the event date, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus 18%. Table & Chair rental fees will be refunded 100%. Registration is non-transferrable to other market dates.
Cancellation Day-Of Event: If the Boston Women’s Market team cancels an event due to inclement weather the day-of the event (wind, rain, storms, heatwave, snow storms, etc.) you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee. Table & Chair rental fees will be refunded 100%.
Why are we now charging a 18% fee?
As you can imagine, a great deal of time, effort and money has already been spent well in advance of knowing we will need to cancel an event due to weather. Each time we have to cancel an event, BWM loses hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars that has already been spent on advertising and labor. Additionally, we have to re-do all our labor and marketing to re-advertise an event if it is moved to a new date. In order to help plug this large leak and keep us financially stable, we have decided to implement this new policy. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly. We personally know how important every dollar is to a small business. We hope you can understand why we have to implement this new policy. Registrations are non-transferrable to other Market dates or activations.
This Bad Weather policy will apply to:
Events that have been cancelled and no rescheduled date can be established
If an event has been rescheduled to a new date, and you cannot participate in the new date
