MEET YOU AT BOSTON WOMEN’S MARKET!
Hello,
Welcome to the Boston Women’s Market family! BWM isn’t just another market; it’s a place to become a change-maker and an opportunity for you to amplify your voice in support of women-founded businesses and artists.
Ever since our 2017 debut at the beautiful Loring-Greenough House in Jamaica Plain, we’ve been working tirelessly to preserve a space for founders and artists of all kinds; from wood-workers, to candle makers, to illustrators. It’s simple to join us on our journey for change. Head to one of our upcoming markets, give a shout-out to your favorite women-founded brand on your social media, or send mom a locally-made gift from the Shop.
We hope to see you soon,
Cara Loffredo
BWM Co-Founder & Directing Organizer
Built for Women
Boston Women’s Market was created to give women entrepreneurs a platform to grow, be seen, and succeed. Since 2017, we’ve supported hundreds of makers, artists, and small business owners by creating accessible opportunities to sell their work and connect with new customers.
We believe small businesses thrive when they’re supported with intention, transparency, and community.
More Than a Market
What started as pop-up markets has grown into a year-round ecosystem. From in-person events and online selling to educational resources and marketing support, Boston Women’s Market meets founders where they are—whether they’re just getting started or ready to scale.
Our goal isn’t just sales for the day. It’s sustainable growth for the long run.
Community Over Competition
At the heart of Boston Women’s Market is a supportive, collaborative community. We foster an environment where vendors uplift one another, share resources, and grow together—because success isn’t a limited resource.
We prioritize kindness, professionalism, and mutual respect, creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and supported.
“BOSTON WOMEN’S MARKET, OUR STORY” WAS PRODUCED BY PAIGE BURNS, FOUNDER OF MAIN PAIGE MEDIA.
MEET CARA LOFFREDO
Co-Founder & Directing Organizer
“I’m Cara, a co-founder and directing Organizer of Boston Women’s Market, where I get to bring my passion for small businesses and community-building to life. I was raised in a family of entrepreneurs—from a dog and cat boarding kennel to an outdoor waterpark—which sparked my early interest in supporting others in their business journeys.
After graduating from Suffolk University, I built my career working with small nonprofits, gaining hands-on experience in operations, marketing, and event coordination. That path eventually led me to San Francisco, where I managed marketing and e-commerce for a luxury chocolate company, deepening my expertise in consumer brands and digital strategy.
In 2017, I co-founded Boston Women’s Market with the mission of creating a supportive, inclusive platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses and grow with confidence. I’m also a 2024 graduate of the Goldman Sachs / Babson College 10,000 Small Businesses program, which strengthened my leadership skills and commitment to helping founders succeed.”
