Registration Details:
Registration Fee: $60 per day
Vending Hours: While this is not a strict time-frame, we recommend 12PM - 5PM on Saturdays and Sundays
Set-up: Anytime after 11AM
Table & Chairs: Responsibility of Vendor
Vending Space Size: 10ft x 10ft
A minimum of 150lbs of weight is REQUIRED for tents. This is non-negotiable for everyone’s safety.
Arrival:
Load-in Zone: You will be able to pull up right behind the Shop to Unload.
Set Your Navigation to: 300-398 Grand Union Blvd, Somerville, MA 02145
You will pull into a Gravelly lot area across the street from Ruth Chris Steak House.
Veer Right and you will see the Shed in front of you.
Pull up to the back of the Shed for Unload.
Long-Term Parking: You will be given a Parking Pass (1 pass/business) to display in the dashboard of your vehicle to park for free and all-day in the Ashley Furniture/TJMaxx Parking Lot (~4 min walk.) Please leave the parking pass in-shop at the end of your day.
Set-Up & Day-of:
You will set-up your activation on the “front lawn” of the Pop-up Shop
The space is large enough for a 10×10 pop-up tent with room to spare
You’re welcome and encouraged to bring an A-frame promotional sign to place on the lawn
There is no access to sinks or running water.
Bathrooms can be found inside nearby restaurants & cafes.
Wifi and Electricity is available. Please plan to bring your own power strips, extension cords, etc.

Tent Policy:
At Boston Women’s Market, your safety will always come before profits. As many of you have experienced, Assembly Row can become a man-made wind tunnel. Please review our Tent use policy before registering.
If Wind Speeds are projected to be ~17MPH or lower or wind gusts of ~20MPH or less, we will allow 10x10 Tents and notify you that you can bring a tent.
If Wind Speeds are projected to be ~17MPH or higher or wind gusts of ~20MPH or higher, we will NOT allow 10x10 Tents and notify you that you cannot bring a tent.
If Wind Speeds are projected to be ~23MPH or higher, your activation will be rescheduled to a future TBD date.
If we do need to be Tent-free, we will allow patio umbrellas with weighted bases. Here are some options you can take a look at:
Location Details:
The Incubator Pop-up Shop will be nestled in the heart of Assembly Row, inside The Shed — an exciting new multi-use space situated between Assembly Row and Revolutionary Drive. You'll be surrounded by shops, restaurants, the Volo Sports Courts, and a vibrant outdoor cocktail and beer garden and events stage.
Assembly Row has been dubbed “Windy City” by some of our vendors, and for good reason. Even on a not windy day, it can be windy at Assembly. If lightweight items, shelved, signs, etc., blowing away or dropping are a concern of yours, this may not be the best location for you.
Our Cancellation Policy:
We understand life events occur and plans change! Please review our cancellation policy thoroughly before applying to ensure this is the right opportunity for you.
To cancel, you must notify BWM via e-mail at hello@Bostonwomensmarket.com by the following dates:
100% refund: If notified at least 10 days before the date of the event.
50% refund: If notified at least 9 days before the date of the event.
No refund: If notified 8 days or less before the date of the event.
Bad Weather Event Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Before The Event Date: If the Boston Women’s Market team cancels an event due to inclement weather (wind, rain, storms, heatwave, snow storms, etc.) before the event date, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus 18%. Table & Chair rental fees will be refunded 100%.
Cancellation Day-Of Event: If the Boston Women’s Market team cancels an event due to inclement weather (wind, rain, storms, heatwave, snow storms, etc.) the day of the event, you will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee. Table & Chair rental fees will be refunded 100%. Registrations are non-transferrable to other dates.
Why are we now charging a 18% fee?
As you can imagine, a great deal of time, effort and money has already been spent well in advance of knowing we will need to cancel an event due to weather. Each time we have to cancel an event, BWM loses hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars that has already been spent on advertising and labor. Additionally, we have to re-do all our labor and marketing to re-advertise an event if it is moved to a new date. In order to help plug this large leak and keep us financially stable, we have decided to implement this new policy. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly. We personally know how important every dollar is to a small business. We hope you can understand why we have to implement this new policy.
This Bad Weather policy will apply to:
Events that have been cancelled and no rescheduled date can be established
If an event has been rescheduled to a new date, and you cannot participate in the new date
