Meet Peshtemal Collection

Peshtemal Collection was founded by two sisters, Aslihan and Gizem. When visiting Istanbul for Holiday breaks, they would bring peshtemal gifts back to their friends in Boston who fell in love with their softness and versatility. Friends also loved the story of peshtemals, their beauty, and the quality of organic cotton. After seeing friends’ enthusiasm, they started their own Peshtemal Collection. Aslihan and Gizem partner with local women artisans in Turkey, famous for the quality of their weaving on a hand loom.
